What Is Reiki?
Reiki is a holistic healing practice that originated in Japan in the early 20th century. The word “Reiki” is derived from two Japanese words: “Rei,” meaning universal, and “Ki,” meaning life energy. It is a form of energy healing that works by channeling this universal life force energy into the recipient to promote healing, relaxation, and balance.
How Reiki Works
Reiki practitioners act as conduits for this life force energy, using their hands to either gently touch or hover above the body to direct energy where it is needed most.
